Another half hour of free music recorded in one weekend.

About Pool Party

Following the success of the recording experiment Pizza Party, Verbatim has decided to do it again. The appropriately titled Pool Party EP documents a weekend-long party and the recording that coincided. This record adheres to the same rules as the original: whatever is done on Monday must be released to the Internet for free.

This record is FREE. Please share it with your friends, remix it, and copy it.

Liner Notes

Verbatim is:
CH: drums, guitars, bass, keyboards, cello, harmony
Peter Hassett: guitars, bass, keyboards, singing

Also featuring: Erin Surrock, Steven Kern, Nick Frye, Emmy, and more.

Tracked by Erin Surrock, Steven Kern, CH, and Peter Hassett
Engineered by Peter Hassett
Still unmastered by choice

All songs by Peter Hassett, except “This is How We Do It”, “Festival Song”, and that other one. It’s fair use: live with it.

This album was recorded at Blue Noise Studio West in Frederick, Maryland. Most songs are first takes. There were a couple overdubs and just a bit of mixing.

Yeah, the record is free, but Verbatim would appreciate any fiduciary help.
